In 1981, the decision was made to discontinue production of the Susan B. Anthony Dollar. In an effort to not waste unused canvas bags intended for use in shipping dollar coins, the mint "cancelled" the side printed indicating it contained $2,000 in dollar coins (left photo). This particular bag was reused to ship $50 in 1982 dated One Cent coins (right photo).
