"CoinTalk.org" Giveaway

On November 18, 2007, Jeff Kelley, in conjunction with "www.SmallDollars.com", conducted a giveaway to members of CoinTalk.org. Members that responded to his post announcing the giveaway were sent a free counterstamped 2000-P Jefferson Nickel. The reverse of the Nickel was counterstamped with the "www.SmallDollars.com" logo. The counterstamp is painted blue. The coins were placed in a custom printed cardboard 2x2 holder. In addition to conducting the giveaway, Jeff Kelley was also the counterstamper. His initials "JBK" are counterstamped on the obverse over Felix Schlagg's initials. Mintage = 50. |

At The Money Show of the Southwest™, held November 30 - December 2, 2007 in Houston, Texas, these counterstamped 2000-P Jefferson Nickels were handed out by Edwin Johnston, a long time friend and supporter of SmallDollars.com. Mr. Johnston held a talk on Sunday, December 2nd, titled History & Development of Small Size Dollar Coins. During the talk he gave out samples of these counterstamped Nickels. Additional samples were handed out in the bourse area throughout the day. The reverse of the Nickel is counterstamped with the "www.SmallDollars.com" logo. The counterstamp is painted black. The coins were placed in a custom printed cardboard 2x2 holder. Counterstamper Jeff Kelley's initials, "JBK", are counterstamped on the obverse on Jefferson's pony tail. Mintage = 50. |

"Greater
Houston Coin Club" Giveaway

The Greater Houston Coin Club held their 2007 Christmas party on December 20th. At the party, GHCC member and long time friend and supporter of SmallDollars.com, Edwin Johnston, presented to each member in attendance a Texas Quarter counterstamped with the "www.SmallDollars.com" logo. The counterstamp is painted maroon. The maroon colored counterstamp is exclusive to this giveaway and will not be used again on any Texas Quarter. The counterstamper is Jeff Kelley. His initials are found on the obverse in Washington's hair. The coins were placed in a Saflip® with a custom made insert. Mintage = 55. |
